Voice Chat Instructions

 

 

Download the client software from this link (Windows Only).

Save this file to your desktop. When the download is complete, run this file to install the client software.

We are using Teamspeak2 for our voice chat. If you already have this software installed, you can skip the download section.

Once the software is installed, run it. When the window opens, click on connection and select connect. This screen should open:

Right click under Servers and select Add Server. Enter a server name (AWF). Once you enter the server name it should appear under Label: on the right side panel.

Enter the Server Address listed above (74.220.221.155:8790).

Enter a Nickname (The same username you use at americanwaterfowlers.com).

Make sure the Anonymous radio button is selected. Users already registered must choose the Registered radio button, but only if they already had their account registered.

Press the connect button. If there is an administrator in the chat room when you arrive, they will help you with your set up. You can send a text message to them by right clicking on their name.

**NEW** If there isn't an admin in the room, press the "Self" button and click on "Register With Server". In the window that opens, enter your login name and password and press the "Register" button.

Once you are registered the first time, you must log out and log back in using the username and password that are set up for you.

If you wish to pre-register, send a PM to Admin with the password you want to use and I'll set your voice chat account up as soon as I can.

Once you are logged in, make sure your sound settings are set for Push To Talk, not voice activated.
